First time poster, long time reader.

I recently received a RFE on my I-140 application for special registration (only apply for men born in the middle east). My attorney and I replied to the RFE letter explaining why I did not register for the requirement. It is been three months since they received my letter (as shown on the e-gov website). I still have not heard anything from USCIS. My status still reads 'RFE: Response Review'

My question is :

Do they always formally reply back to the applicant's RFE response and indicates whether they accepted it or not.? If so, will it be within the 4 month process time.?


Aprreciate any thoughts.

I was working on H1B till one month back, recetly I joined permanent position on EAD. I need to renew my wifes EAD. Though I dod not need it but for driving license they want some immigration document, so I am planning to e-file for my wife's EAD. I have couple of questions

1. There is question for Current Immigration status. I belive since I mobved to EAD my wif's status is AOS pending. But from the option I do not see any option near to that. What should be right choice. It is not a manadatory field can I leave it blank.

2. There is question for Provide information regarding eligibility status. What should i put there , I am thginking to keep AOS Pending.

3. Somebody told me that I can not e-file for my wife.

Gurus please suggest. I am waiting for your responses.

vallabhu08-05 10:46 AMGuys, My appeal "I290B" for a denied I140 under EB3 category was submitted on March 5th 2008 to TEXAS service center AAO.

I have 2 questions in tracking the application

1) Are all I290B's processed initially where I140 is denied and then later sent to DC office, or completely processed by TSC.

2) If the applications are sent to DC after review by TSC. how long does TSC take to review the application before forwarding to DC and how long will DC require to process the application to close the case (I know total is 14 months for EB3)

1.) My littel sister is living with a Looser for the past 10 teays and he refuse to file for her Residency. So got pregnat last year and now has a baby by him. Is there anything she can do to get her residency in this situation?


2.) I am married to a US citizen. I have a Pending case with USCIS however it has been draging out for too long. I wanted to file for my Residency using my Current marriage. She is a US citizen however dose anyone know if there is a limit or time frame when a US citizen can file for someone else? She was married before and filed for her X-husband residency. I'm finding the same thing with my D2H. Take a look at the auto photo I attached earlier today for the noise in the shadows there - yuck. I've also seen an exposure shifting problem during any kind of motordrive and autoexposure. If I select manual mode it seems to go away. But I've examined shot sequences where EXIF data indicates identical Aperture and Shutter and yet there is a shift. I wonder if these things have that much production variance to cause noise and calibration problems like this.
