Pooja07-05 10:15 AMIs it true that they really approved 60000 cases in June. I have a couple of friends that filed I-485 in 2005 and there background is clear too but still have not been approved. I don't understand what is going inside the blackbox. I read in forum that only 40,000 application were ready for approval but then why didn't these people application was not approved all thou there file was complete.

Whats your country of chargeability and category...

EB1 - Yes, you can
EB2- ROW - Yes

EB2 I/C - wait time is 3-5 years
EB3 I/C - wait time is 10-12 years

EB3 - ROW - wait time is 5-6 years.

Can a person with following qualification file in EB2? Do you foresee issues like RFE/rejection?

3 Yr B.Com + 2 Yr MBA + 3 Yr MCA .. all foreign degrees. + 1 year of progresive experience.

Can you also suggest/comment on following? -

- Are there any finer-points in various forms that require some specific words/info?
- new OTC job band changes - would it affect this case in any ways?
- Education Evaluation - can you please recommend any good evaluator.. better if somebody who has successfully handled similar cases?

My grand father and grand mother are trying to apply for visitor visa.. my grand father is a retired govt employee and grand mom is home maker.. my grandfather is coming on their own and we are not sponsoring them..he will be able to submit tax returns as he runs small business and owns 1 apartment and few lands my questions are:

1.what are the documents should he take for visa ?

2.how much of bank balance? (they say 6 months of bank statements is necessary)

3.cant he just say he's retired and take the asset evaluation and bank statements alone?

please help ...

rajenk12-02 03:32 PMCategory classification of EB2 or EB3 is done when filing I-140. Labor does not have any such classification. It all depends on the job requirement that decides EB2/EB3 at I-140 while filing.

My PERM was approved in 3 days filed on June 15, 07 approved on June 18. .

I was lucky to be able to apply I-140, I-485 together during the July madness.

Last Month I received an RFE on the I-140 for degrees and reference letters after sending I-140 approved in 2 weeks. Now I have received an RFE on my I-485

They have asked for work authorization for the volunteering and internship I did while on F1. My atty by mistake put these on the G325A form. The internship was a cpt recorded on the I-20 so no worries there. Volunteering was where the problem is. It was working at a physicians office (my dad's office) helping in computer stuff.

What do the Gurus recommend I do. I am worried that at this stage What can we do.
