pawelthegreatSep 20, 04:15 PMJust less than 1MB for me.
I like updates for Mac OS X.
notjustjayJan 28, 10:30 PMDarnit. I want to do this too, but I no longer have the Windows machines, only a 20-some megabyte outlook.pst file.
R94NFeb 21, 03:07 AMDefinitely different from Bill Gates mansion.
That's built into the side of a mountain isn't it?

kristen stewart dresses.filySep 14, 07:15 PMThat's definitely a snail. It's hitched on that bug for a ride. It'll do that with any bug that is big enough to compensate for the the snails weight.
NipsySep 8, 07:42 PMA certain company is trying to shift product udpates away from major Expos. They've found that the lack of orders directly preceding an expo, as well as the expo dates not agreeing with major edu buying schedules have made this a bad idea.
You can expect to see new software releases at all Apple expos, and sometimes product introductions, but I think that will be it in the future.
This allows for a more consistent sales pattern, and keeps you guessing as to when updates arrive.

"Death Grip"?
What is it about the internet that it encourages everyone to be so dramatic with every issue, even a dead pixel. ("The pixel is dead! DEAD! I could handle a sick pixel, but a dead one?")

I LOVE how APPLE "claps you in" when they open the store!
dabirdwellMar 27, 10:54 PMalso looks a lot better if you have the expansion pack.
My six year old inherited my old 64 last year and he got a ton of stuff for it this holiday season.

likegadgetsMay 5, 12:31 PMget ready to wait awhile. I ordered a 27 imac the day they were available. shipping time is jun 15th arrive jun 22nd.
I see the big delay if the SSD option is ordered. In the meantime the 2010 i7 works well. I wonder why such a delay for SSD
Anthony8720Dec 9, 11:51 AMJust curious. I got my new pb and am overall very very happy with it. But i am a biologist and work that i do requires up close scrutinay of several photographs. These horizontal lines make that very annoying. If this is a software problem i wont be that discouraged, but if it is hardware i may have to get a pre-october refurb. Anyone have any insight into this issue?

OOoooh! I just had this great idea for a reply you could send the guy in the OP :p
StormbringerOct 21, 06:11 PMGuitar music as in "solo guitar" or "songs with vocals accompanied by guitar"?
I don't like Andy McKee by the way. Yes he does some special tricks (which are not extremely difficult to duplicate), but musically it's nothing imho. If you want a real genius musically and technically try Tommy Emmanuel! :)
You'd like my band too by the way, it's like Rodrigo y Gabriela, except on steelstrings and more different influences (not so concentrated on Spanish). And, we try to sing as well! Shame we still haven't recorded our songs yet.

swalkApr 22, 05:25 PMI apologize if I may have violated the rules with regard to asking a question about selling an item, it's not may intention to come here to pawn something off.
As for my friend, we have known each other since kindergarten (now in our 30s) and I originally offered to give it to him for free but he insisted on paying a fair-market price.
netdogApr 22, 01:46 PMProblem is the fans on this model are on the base, try keeping it off the floor
This happens on my MBP too with little else running. Skype really is probably the problem.

bellis1Feb 4, 03:34 PMI just had to post to tell everyone how much I love this thing. How can anyone live with a one button mouse?
I has three buttones on the left side of the mouse for your thumb. I have these set for one to go forward/next/page down and one to go backward/previous/page up and then the middle one to flip between pages that are open within one application. Makes browsing macrumors and multiple threads fast especially with the scroll wheel on the top.
And then you can click the scroll whell, I have that programed for expose to only show the desktop.
And then wait, still two more buttons. One of the buttons on the scroll wheel I have programmed to expose all windows and the other to show all the windows in one application. What is that like 6 buttons?
MacChinoNycMay 1, 09:35 PM"Apple is allegedly building two iPhone 5 models in place of a scheduled fall publish. According to an employee of an Apple part supplier, in attendance is good sense to believe with the purpose of the iPhone 5 will really be two devices: A standard and pro copy."

Would these versions be welcomed or not?
macmanlexJul 9, 12:07 AMI will be taking the family to the Oxmoor Mall Apple store. Wonder if there will be a line? Hope to see some other Mac zealots there.
compuwarMar 10, 09:06 PMI generally advise people to avoid having their camera gear on a homeowner's rider anyway- the last thing you want is the HO insurance canceled because of a claim. Talk to any licensed insurance agent- Traveller's has a nice "personal professional property" policy, or just ask about an "inland marine" policy for your gear.

Beaverman3001May 2, 08:24 PMI found a dead pixel today. Maybe my vision just sucks but, even when I look for it knowing where its at, I can't see it unless conditions are perfect (100% screen brightness, white background, nothing else near it). It really isn't that big of a deal, no screen is perfect.
bedifferentMar 14, 09:57 AMThere are others copies in System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/FinderKit.framework/Resources.
Yeah I noticed that too, it was almost an exact copy of the Finder.app/Resources folder. I modified that as well. Interesting that Lion seems to be using frameworks much more so than previous OS X incarnations.
MarklesharkMar 20, 03:28 AMIsn't that the mod that lets you play downloaded roms off the internet?
Now there is something we shouldn't be talking about...
Michael8510Feb 24, 11:39 AMhttp://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=20050221082956959 had an article detailing how the trackpad vendor may have changed, and that the newer (1.5ghz +) PBs have slower trackpads, even when cranked up to the fastest setting.
I myself can notice the difference between the newer PBs and my old sony vaio trackpad. (The PB is much slower than I'd like).
