Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.

On April 1, 2009 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

I am not sure what does this mean. If some one can throw some light.

My wife came to US on H4 and changed to F1 status thru COS. She is doing Masters 2nd semester and went for F1 visa stamping this week in India. She got 221(g) pink slip asking explain her projects, plans afer study etc. Visa officier withheld her passport and I20.
BTW the way I am on H1B and provided all the financial support documents.
I searched the online didnt any F1 getting 221(g) pink.

1)If anyone else got this for F1 please share your experiences and any tips.

2)How long it takes after repsonding to thier queries

3)what are the chances getting visa after getting 221(g) pink

4) Do you suggest getting any professional in drafting the reponse to te queries.. if so do you know any one in Hyderabad, India

leo4ever03-18 10:10 AMIt can be corrected. You employer need to change your base pay to 5500 from mar and it will get paid as regular salary. It should not have to be bonus. Don't worry talk to your employer and its a simple and common adjustment.

He kept saying that this is not a big deal at all for having the wrong background on the petition letter submitted to USCIS. He said that the new petition letter, I-129 and documents do not need to be resubmitted to USCIS. My lawyer also said that he can simply solve the problem by sending me the new petition letter. Accordingly, I can then bring this new letter to the consular for the visa interview instead of going through the resubmission. He also said that there is nothing to be worry about PIMS or anything. Could you please advise what to do? Pls help. Thank you very much.

I am planning to use AC-21 provisions to change jobs. My new employer is going to use ICE MILLER in Indianapolis to process my H1-B transfer.

I was wondering if anyone could share his/her experience with their staff and general suggestions. I would like to use them for any RFEs or filing any AC-21related documents.

Left with no choice.. but to wait with hope..

Better to start new labor process if your are nearing 6th year on H1. these audits take forever and mostly have -ve results. and the employers/attorneys are not helpful either.

If you take a look at the list of participating organizations Organizations � Reform Immigration For America (http://reformimmigrationforamerica.org/about/organizations/) you'll only see that the TX state chapter has signed on. Core group, could one of you take a look and sign-up? Would IV consider cooridnating events with them during 2010?

I saw the list and all organizations want to give citizenship to undocumented. We are all documented.

If there was a possibility of USCIS handing a GC in person, you would have driven 50 hours. Can you not drive for 10hours for a cause that is affecting you, me and everyone around us?
