I am currently on H1B with an employer who has processed GC so far (labor and 140 are approved)

Currently I have all documents except
1)Approved 140
2) Employement offer letter

For 140, I have courtesy copy.

Employer is asking lot of money to file 485 all of a sudden. And they are not responding to my calls for offer letter.

So I was planning to apply 485 by myself or hire an attorney other than my company's.

Since I dont have above mentioned documents, can I still apply 485 without being denied?

Please help me

I-140 has been approved. Our priority date is in May 2008.
The current "priority dates" for EB-3 as per USCIS is April-2001. Based on this, When can we expect our "485" to be filed and our EAD to be approved ?
I have a law degree from India (12+3+3) and currently I am pursuing a paralegal program from an ABA approved university. I might loose my job oppurtunities if I don't have a work permit. Is there anyway that I can get a work permit with my pending GC application process, without hampering the GC process ? Can I get a work visa (or EAD) based on my education ?

little_willy08-05 08:28 PMMy wife recently returned from India and at port of entry, the officer incorrectly wrote the paroled until date as Jul 12, 2010 instead of Jul 12, 2011. The date is incorrect on both I-94 and AP.

Will this create any issues and how can this be corrected? Her status is AOS pending, she doesn't have a EAD or H-visa

My wife's AP is valid till Oct 12, 2010. I would appreciate any help

IneedAllGreen12-28 09:56 AMI did my 7 th year visa transfer this year and again it took more than 2 months then nothing happened later I went for premium processing because my wife's H4 stamping date was coming closure. I guess usually it takes 2-3 months for transfering visa. Mine was Nebraska Service center. Again this year I am going for 8th year extension. Good luck for your visa transfer. Just relax and wait for USCIS reply on ur application.

485 EB3 world, applied Augut 8, 2007. ND is Oct 8, 2007.

I just checked today and saw LUDS on my cases. NO lUD on 485 at all. (not approved) No LUD on AP or EAD. (these are approved)

These are all approved as well.

I129 LUd 7/13/2008
I140 LUD 7/13/2008
I290BLUD 7/13/2008 (I had to file because my H1 extension was denied. It was approved after the appeal. However, the status for this still shows received and we will let you know when we make a decision. this was 2 years ago. I have since then able to extend my h1 again.

No LUDs on EAD OR AP cases. NO LUDS of any kind for my wifes cases as well.


What does all this means. The messages are still the old ones, nothing new. Just LUDS on these cases. Does that mean that my 485 is going to be denied or that they might be looking at my case in the near future. does this mean that they may be looking for more information. Has anyone of you had LUDS on any of your old cases but not on your 485 case. I have ready somewhere that some got LUDS on older cases.

How is USCIS wokring on Sunday. 7/13 was yesterday and it was Sunday.
