gparrFebruary 1st, 2004, 08:42 PMI never know what to do with these shots. This is a planter of small flowers that had a nice color and nice foliage. I don't have a macro lens and really wouldn't have wanted a macro shot if I had one. What's the best way to compose a shot like this? I cropped this some, but it seems there should be a way to compose a shot such as this to get better visual impact.

Has an immigrant petition ever been filed for you or for any other person included in this application?
Has Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, ever been filed by you or by any person included in this application?


I am confused regarding the answers and would really appreciate any help answering them. Please review below staus for family and I and advise. Your reasons supporting the answer would be extremely helpful and much appreciated.



Here's my status:
-Working in US since 2004 on a H1B so this is my 7th year extension.
-This would be the second instance of filing the extension working with the same company -I switched my H1B to back in 2006.
-I-140 was filed in March 2007 and approved in October the same year.
-I-485 for family and I was filed in July/August wave in 2007.
-LCA was filed last week and H1B renewal and extension of stay petition is expected to be filed next week. I have only 2 1/2 months remaining. Should that be a worry?

I had been using an attorney for all my previous filings for any kind of case but don't want to go back to him any more because of the quality of service, or lack thereof, I have been receiving from him lately. Not to mention the fee he has quoted is 50% more than last time. Even my office finds the amount to be very outrageous therefore they have decided to help me out and file the case themselves.

The questions which you posted at very straight forward. What is your confusion ? Has anyone applied a petition for your family with an immigrant intent ?

I am currently working through a Consulting company at a client location.
Now, if I were to join the "same" client location as an employee after the 180 day completion of having filed I-485, what are the things that I need to keep in touch before I make this transition.

I do have EAD that is valid till Sep'08. Do I need to tell the client company that my I-485 is pending and that I can work using EAD or should I apply as anyone who would apply for the position without any strings...!!!

I would really appreciate if you guys can let me know any nuiances that I need to be aware of and any caveats that exist in this situation.

I appreciate your time and good luck to all to get the GC as soon as possible.

10dulkar02-28 07:18 AMPer RFE for I485 they want the proof of Employment Authorization in US starting 12th April 2004 to present.

I was going thru my all the I-797 approvals for myself and I found that there is a discontinuity in one of the old approval notice.


WAC-01-XXX-XXXXX 07/15/2001 - 04/05/2004
WAC-04- XXX-XXXXX 04/30/2004 - 01/18/2005 (This approval start after 25 days)

But the extension petition was filed prior to expiration of WAC-01-XXX-XXXXX on 17th Dec. 2003. Approval notice has the receive date of 17th Dec 2003.

Could this gap be a issue, That is why they are asking starting 12th April 2004?

Per my Lawyer, no need to worry because the extension petition was filed before the expiration of other.

Please advice.

txh1b09-14 03:43 PMGet back on H1b ASAP and do not wait for the Appeal decision. Have them file for a CP H1b approval if not EOS and get a visa and return back on H1b. Your EAD is invalid and you need $$$ to fight a case and remain in status.

If your PD is current and a visa number available, they should be approving the petition soon after.

My reason for saying this is that depth of field, the control of areas of sharpness in a photograph, can be easily done by graphic software after the shot is processed. My experience comes from film slr cameras & lots of darkroom time. Since switching to a digital slr I now shoot for everything as sharp as possible & then alter the areas in a photo that I want less sharp later. Saves time & makes for overall sharper images.

I just got approved for H-1B this year and I have some questions. I'm from a small country where they do not easily let their citizens to become citizens of other counties. So unless it's for educational purpose (undergraduate/graduate), they will not renew my passport for me.

My passport expires at the end of this year, and I was wondering if it's possible to obtain the following with an expired passport:

a) H-1B extension
b) PERM
c) green card

If it's not possible to obtain any of them with an expired passport, I must enroll in a graduate school to renew my passport. (Before my passport expires) I really prefer not to do this.

I would really appreciate if you could reply with cases you've seen or experienced in the past.
