They want to preserve the look, even if it costs a little extra. $30 is still way cheaper than replacing your Shuffle because of scuffs and scratches on the case.

And besides, it's blue, to boot... ;)

interesting way of seeing it...

yet, why preserve the pristine look of the shuttle when you will not be able appreciate it with this case on?

and then of course, alu scratches badly, so one would need to buy a case to protect the case. yikes! :)

I got the lower base 27" model for $1615 + tax, so I'm pretty happy. The $85 I saved will pay for an extra 8GB of RAM :) Going to have some dev VMs running on this sucker with no problems.

I got mine ordered as well! i went with the high end 27", with the sale going on it cost me $2038 including tax. i read a forum post on macrumors that said that the imacs are having issues with screen yellowing. i'm starting to worry about it a little bit haha

transmasterApr 9, 05:56 PMI really like my OtterBox Defender, as I mentioned in my review above I almost did not switch over to the the Ivyskin Q3. It is thick, it will not work in any of my docking ports but for protection you can't beat it. OtterBox has a new case in the works that my be of interest here. It has not been released yet it is called the Reflex, see the link below. According to the description it has the protection of the Defender with a slim design and a snap off bottom for docking. It sounds very interesting. :)

They sell this year's phone for one price and last year's phone for a much cheaper price.

I don't see any reason why they'd give that up and start selling 2 brand-new models at different prices. I don't understand what that gains them over the current system. Any blog that says there will be a 'pro model' but doesn't explain how that's better than the current system doesn't count much in my opinion.

TharianMar 15, 11:55 AMIts also the buggiest thing on the OS, it disables typing after a few minutes, doesnt want to load web pages some times, and everytime you skip around in a flash video it starts it as a new download without killing the old one meaning youll end up with a bunch of FLV's being downloaded at the same time killing your bandwidth and having your video stopped on sites that dont allow multiple connections.

I agree. While I love how fast it is, I keep having scrolling issues when there are multiple tabs open. I have to reload a tab in order to get scrolling to come back. Anyone having a similar issue?

What I wanted to do was put Windows 7 along with OSX on my 240gb SSD while also partitioning my my 750gb HDD that I'll install in the optibay drive so one side is for Windows in NTFS and the other for OSX.

Possible within disc utilies, right? Sorry, I am a new Mac user =D


I'm a little confused, I understand the OSX and bootcamp win7 on the SSD but why are you partitioning the 750GB HDD? You might want to format the 750GB as mac osx journaled and get macdrive for win7, that way windows can write to both the bootable osx and the 750GB drive.

I have one drive with 3 partitions. SL, Lion and win7 and can share files between each OS. Just a suggestion... :)

To sue someone, you have to know who they are so you can serve them. What's Apple going to do, sue comex? chpwn? Apple doesn't know who they are. Sony knew who geohot was because he's an attention whore.

But I forgot, it's much more attention grabbing and easier to get people to donate if you scare them into thinking the jb world will come to an end if you don't send geohot money.

Put fonts that you want to use in your User > Library > Font folder.

When you're done using that font, take it out of your User > Library > Font folder.

Don't use any other font management tools.

That is my recommendation.

alust2013Apr 24, 12:30 AMIt may have something running in the background that prevents the automatic sleeping. Check system prefs, accounts, your account, login items to see if it starts up automatically at login. If it does, select that and click the minus button. You can also check activity monitor to see if there are programs running in the background keeping it awake.
