bmwhdMay 5, 11:22 AMYep. When I'm running a Winterboard theme, I'll get banner adds at the top, behind the icons, on my springboard after closing certain apps.

I can reproduce 100% of the time with an app called 'Speedometer FREE' from the Apple app store. Quick respring cures it.

Is it?, is there a really easy to use tool for a proper (untethered) jailbreak?. I've not looked upgrading from 3.2 as I'm not interested in any of the new features, but I keep seeing games I can't buy because I don't have a new ios.

I'm not sure why using a machine as a server makes some special case. Figure out what your server software needs.

But you seem to be by-passing them by using java RemoteShellClient directly from the command line. So I don't think they're the cause of your error.

According to JavaClient.bat (now the JavaClient bash script), RemoteShellClient expects 4 arguments. From the look of the command your trying to use, these arguments are: 1) the IP address of the remote computer, 2) the port of the remote computer, 3) the command to run on the remote computer, 4) the arguments to be passed to the remote command. The remote command and argument suggests that the remote computer is running Windows. Is that the case?

Do you know where the error is coming from? I've not seen bash output this error, so I doubt it's coming from there. Is there other output to suggest it's coming from RemoteShellClient, or from the remote computer?

I agree Expos� is the better way as it is a simply push of a button or a click but the option to totally reveal the desktop is already there as I pointed out above. You just have to select the finder or desktop and then hit option-apple-h.

NereusDec 16, 05:43 PMPerhaps you should try removing the file com.apple.airport.preferences.plist from the folder you find it in. Perhaps some of the preferences are corrupt.

Also, I'd check to make sure the antenna is plugged in correctly. :)

Legion93Apr 22, 05:01 PMWhen I buy RAM for my Macs, I buy Crucial, cheap, reliable and high-quality. Apple uses mostly cheap Korean brand 'Hynix' memory modules in their Macs and they are quite unreliable. Can't speak for OWC though...

I'm trying to install 10.3 on an old Tangerine G3 333 iMac. I've upgraded the RAM and the OS9 that was already instlalled was running fine. I then swapped out the HD booted off of the 10.3 install CD, erased HD and partitioned it to 7GB/33GB.

So far so good. I start the install and everything seems to be going just fine, but it never ask for the 2nd install CD. It goes through disk optimization and everything while still on the 1st CD. Then it reboots itself, but fails to find the OS on the HD and ends up wanting to install again.

I've done this 4 or 5 times now and can't figure out what is happening. Anyone have any ideas?
