It gets the job done, but I'm thinking about redoing the thermal paste with better stuff and adding nylon screws, that should help keep temps down... and add a little life to the already ancient mac mini.

With the plastic clips, the springs were required to maintain pressure between the heatsink and the CPU. You don't need the springs if you're using screws and nuts. I used nylon screws and nylon lock nuts. I see temps a few degrees lower than yours while encoding. Remember not to use too much thermal paste.

That would explain why a lot of the options are missing. :D But it sounds like you know too much to get caught by that one.

Yeah, that's it. The comments in the extensionroom seemed to claim that TBP had exactly the same features, but was less buggy. I guess they were wrong.

The only part of it I use is the forcing of new windows to open as new tabs instead, so there wasn't any visible difference to me.

All I get is HTTP 404 /Hi/ or /Hello/ could not be found. I hate Tomcat, I hate Java Servlets. If anyone can help please, please, please, I beg you, please help. Here is the java file:

mac jonesMay 2, 07:55 PMSSD's a very useful. The previous post is a good idea. If your strapped for cash, you can get a 30GB SSD and do what the previous poster suggested.

It's really a very useful upgrade, and can be done on a shoestring.

Note: Apple themselves are moving to Solid state. I wouldn't be surprised if the next round of machines will all have dedicated flash Boot partitions separate from the main HD options. (just a guess).

After a little more testing, they load fine when I use localhost as the address, but not when I use the no-ip address.

I have a question about putting the bottom case (plate) back.

Is there a special (or recommended) order to put the screws in to ensure that the bottom case is properly aligned? To avoid wobbling, creaking etc.

Maybe there is some kind of a "service manual" for the Air 2010? (there used to be one for the original Air).
